I am an alto, with the university choir back in Australia but it has been almost 10 years ago.

We had the same problem many years ago naming our group. They were going to go with TransCanada, until I said, “Like the highway that goes coast to coast?” So that was scrapped.

Everyone and their uncle wanted their particular situation included. I listened to them all and finally suggested the title we now use.

We are thrilled you are considering joining us! We are taking a break from regular rehearsals for the summer, but will be starting up again in September, with the first rehearsal being Tuesday September 6th. (Tuesdays 7:30-9:45pm at St. Margaret’s Cedar Cottage – same as last year)
Over the summer there are several choir events and get togethers that you are most welcome (and encouraged) to attend, especially if you are wanting to get a feel for the group. Watch OutinHarmony.org for details.
[Briefly: July is a busy month, and on the next 2 Tuesdays we are holding special rehearsals in preparation for the opening ceremonies of the Outgames which are scheduled for monday July 25th. We hope you can join us. There is also going to be a potluck on Saturday July 16th, and we'll be having a booth at the Vancouver Pride Festival at Sunset Beach on Sunday July 31st. There will also probably be a picnic or some other social thing happening in August, details yet to be determined, but when we get it organized we'll update the website]
