***Due to COVID-19, and the high risks involved in group singing, in-person rehearsals will not be happening as usual at this time. However, the choir will continue to meet online until it is safe to sing together again.
Rehearsals will be on Zoom on Sundays from 3:00 – 5:00 pm,
with additional workshops and social activities on Zoom in our usual 7:30 -9:30 pm time slot Tuesday evenings. If you are interested in joining us, please contact us.***
Rehearsals are held every Tuesday from 7:30 – 9:30 PM from September until June at St. Margaret’s Cedar Cottage Anglican Church, 1530 East 22nd at the corner of Dumfries Street in Vancouver (close to the intersection of Knight and Kingsway).
Out in Harmony is a non-auditioned community choir. Our rehearsals are open to anyone who is interested. You don’t have to be able to read sheet music or have had any previous musical experience.
Even if you can’t join the choir this season, please consider dropping by to sing with us some evening.
Our rehearsals and concerts are held in wheelchair-accessible buildings with gender-neutral bathrooms. We are inclusive and welcome people of all genders and sexualities. Due to allergies amongst our members we ask that all who participate refrain from wearing scented products (perfume, hair spray, deodorant, etc) and hemp (including fabric and marijuana).
Our choir has a secular focus, honouring the diversity of our members by choosing music with little or no religious content.
