Out in Harmony loves to welcome new members. We are a non-auditioned choir and all our rehearsals are open to anyone interested in seeing if they might want to become a singing or non-singing member.
Rehearsals are held at 7:30 PM on every Tuesday from September until June at St. Margaret’s Cedar Cottage Anglican Church, 1530 East 22nd at the corner of Dumfries Street in Vancouver (close to the intersection of Knight and Kingsway.
We believe that anything you don’t know about singing or reading music can be learned. Don’t let lack of experience or stage fright deter you. Give us a chance to prove that you aren’t tone-deaf after all!
We are a non-auditioned choir. You don’t have to read music or have any previous musical experience to sing with us. Our rehearsals and concerts are held in wheelchair-accessible buildings with gender-neutral bathrooms. We are inclusive and welcome people of all genders and sexualities.
We are also secular. We honor the diversity in our members by choosing music with little or no religious content.
Even if you cannot join the choir this season, please consider dropping by to sing with us some evening. As a community choir, we are always looking for friends, allies, and enthusiastic audience members!
