Love it or hate it, we can’t deny that television has changed the world.  It educates us, entertains us, and bombards us with advertisements; It divides us, brings us together, and makes the most distant places seem nearby;  It shapes our view of the world, affects what we consider to be important issues, expands our horizons with new ideas, tells us what to think, and challenges us to think for ourselves .

Please join Out in Harmony as we sing favorite songs, jingles, and themes from television shows both old and new.  It will be a toe tapping walk down memory lane as we resurrect both childhood favorites and current hits, and you will leave singing songs you thought you had forgotten as you head home at the end of the night.  “As Seen On TV” will be held Saturday, June 15th at 7:30 pm at Central Presbyterian Church (1155 Thurlow Street -which is wheelchair accessible).  Tickts are $15 with $10 concession tickets also available.   You can get your tickets from choir members, at Little Sisters’ Emporium, or at the door.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact denise.garzon@gov.bc.ca by June 3rd.
